Adventureland is gearing up for an exciting 2026 season, with a host of new attractions and enhancements to delight visitors. The beloved amusement park in Farmingdale, New York, is set to unveil three new rides and two new games, marking the third year of a multi-phase redevelopment plan that began in 2024. With a focus on innovation and customer experience, Adventureland is transforming its landscape, offering a fresh and thrilling experience for all ages.
The park's old log flume ride, Adventure Falls, and the thrill ride Moon Chaser have been removed to make way for new additions. The space has been reimagined as Legacy Corner, a dedicated area showcasing the park's evolving history. The Moon Chaser, a short-term addition, reflects the park's dynamic development plans. The removal of these rides has opened up 45,000 square feet, allowing for the introduction of two new attractions.
One of the new rides, Wave Twister, is a non-water-based adventure designed by Ride Engineers of Switzerland. It features a boomerang-shaped track, offering a thrilling yet family-friendly experience. Another new ride, The Ram, is a modern take on the classic pirate ship, with a lower height requirement, making it more accessible to a broader range of riders. These additions are part of a larger redevelopment plan that includes the debut of Wave Twister, a galaxy-themed thrill ride, and two new midway games, Wave Blaster and Jungle Run.
Adventureland is also introducing a new double-decker carousel, crafted by Bertazzon of Italy, offering a unique and accessible experience for all. The park's commitment to innovation extends to its food offerings, with the introduction of Legacy Bites, a food stand serving up jumbo pretzels, churros, and specialty foods in bite-sized portions. With these enhancements, Adventureland aims to create a memorable and engaging experience for its visitors.
The park's opening day is set for March 20, 2026, with a range of admission prices catering to different age groups. Adventureland's dedication to providing an exceptional experience for its guests is evident in its ongoing redevelopment efforts, ensuring a thrilling and memorable visit for all who attend.
